Frequently Asked Questions

Coaching is a collaborative process where a coach partners with clients in a thought-provoking and creative journey. It's an inquiry-led process that respects the client's intentions, readiness, pace, and resourcefulness. It aims to inspire individuals to maximize their personal and professional potential by unlocking untapped sources of intuition, resourcefulness, or insights.

While coaching can facilitate change and transformation that can be therapeutic for an individual, it's important to note that coaching is distinct from therapy or counselling.

If you're experiencing significant psychological distress or challenges that interfere with your daily functioning, counselling or therapy may be more appropriate.

In coaching, we focus on the present moment and your current challenges, helping you to move forward by creating and realizing a vision for the life you want to experience. While we may explore past events or experiences, our emphasis is on understanding how they impact the present and future.

If at any point during our coaching relationship, concerns arise about the suitability of coaching, we will openly discuss them and agree on the best way forward together.

Systemic Constellations are a way of working with issues within human systems. Developed by Bert Hellinger, a German psychotherapist, they originally focused on family systems to disclose the deeper forces that unknowingly influence our thoughts, behaviours, and emotional experiences through multiple generations. Over time this systemic approach has been applied to other human systems including organizations, our connection to nature, and larger issues in our communities and the world.

This guided practice is centred on "systems sensing" and employs a "felt-sense" approach, relying on somatic responses, to reveal interaction patterns and interdependent relationships within various systems, such as families, organizations, or communities. Through this process, a dynamic model or map of the system is constructed, illuminating the underlying dynamics shaping our behaviours, decisions, and unfolding experiences.

Together, these Systemic Constellation approaches explore ways for understanding our relationships as well as giving us options to resolve our most complicated problems.

Our journey together will be customized to fit you, your goals, and your life. Every individual's path is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question.

While it's ideal to commit to a length of time that allows for meaningful exploration and growth, specific needs or preferences regarding the number of sessions are always honored. However, it’s important to acknowledge that there may be limitations to the depth of exploration and growth within a shorter timeframe.

For the programs offered, a period of 6 months or more is recommended to allow for deeper integration. This can be discussed further in our discovery chat, where we can explore what works best for you.

The process typically unfolds in these steps:

  • Discovery Chat: We begin with a discovery chat where we meet to share your intention and check for a mutual resonance to work together.
  • Contract: Once a mutual fit is acknowledged, we move forward to understand the engagement terms and sign the contract.
  • Payment: After the contract is signed, you'll proceed to make the payment.
  • Pre-work: You'll be asked to complete a pre-work form, which serves as valuable input for us to begin the work.
  • Book Session(s): Finally, you'll have the opportunity to book your sessions through a scheduling link provided after the contract is signed.

For online sessions, please consider these tips:

  • Essentials: Have any essentials you may need nearby, such as water, a journal, or tissues.
  • Quiet Space: Find a quiet and private space where you can fully engage in the session without distractions.
  • Comfortable Seating: Sit in a comfortable place with adequate support to ensure your physical comfort throughout the session.
  • Minimize Distractions: Remove any potential distractions and silence device notifications to create a focused and conducive environment.
  • Device Connectivity: Check your device connectivity and power supply to ensure a smooth online experience. Do note that joining from a laptop is preferable over a phone.

By preparing in this way, you can optimize your session experience and create an environment conducive to introspection and growth.
